Call for Abstract
DEADLINE DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS - 3 Feb 2012. Participants wishing to present a poster during ISSPS 2012 must first submit an abstract for review by the scientific committee. All abstracts must be received no later than 3 Feb 2012. Once submitted you will receive an acknowledgement of receipt within 48hrs. You will be informed of the committee's decision by 10 Feb 2012. If your abstract is accepted you will need to register as a delegate for the symposium. (N.B. To take advantage of early bird registration rates you will need to register by 10 Feb 2012.) Instructions for abstracts: 1. The abstracts must be written in English 2. It should not exceed 300 words 3. Title must be typed in capital letters 4. Names of the authors should begin on a new line. Cite the last name and initials of each author, without degrees and titles. Underline name of the presenting author. 5. Institutional affiliation. List institution(s), and country on a new line 6. Text of the abstract should be submitted in the structured form including following headings: Objectives, Methods, Results and Conclusions. 7. In addition you may upload 1 table ( max 10 rows/columns) and 1 jpeg image 8. Type the text, including tables and figures, in single-line spacing using Times New Roman 10 pt font. 9. Text should be saved in a MS Word document format. 10. At the bottom, cite presenting author's full address, including e-mail address.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the ISSPS 2012 Programme Book. Please click here to download the Abstract Submission Form. Abstracts should be submitted via email to issps2012@aic.cuhk.edu.hk. 1) Maximum size allowed for display is 90cm (36") width x 120 cm (48") height. Posters are required to be in vertical (portrait) orientation. 2) Allocate the top of the poster for the title and authors. 3) Format of the abstract should be submitted in the structured form including following headings: Objectives, Design and Methods, Results, Conclusions. 4) Texts, Illustrations, Figures and Diagrams can be added as appropriate within the confined space. 5) Please refer to the Final Program Book for the poster number assigned to you. Please use the board with the same number. 6) The poster sessions will take place during the refreshment breaks and you will receive your exact time slot prior to the symposium. 7) Each presenter will need to stand by their poster during the entire time slot in order to answer questions from the poster chairs and delegates. 8) It is the presenter's responsibility to remove their poster at the end of the symposium. |
